Gift wrapping ideas, step by step

Terms of Use

Last updated: October 5, 2026

These Terms of Use apply to your use of Menu Perfeito (menuperfeito.com, “the site”). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

What the site provides

The site publishes free guides, tutorials and ideas about gift wrapping for general information and personal enjoyment. We work to keep the instructions clear and accurate, but we do not guarantee that every guide is free of errors or that you will get a particular result by following it. Paper, ribbon and boxes vary, so the sizes, lengths and times given are estimates.

Safety

Gift wrapping is a low-risk craft, but it involves scissors, craft knives, hole punches, wired ribbon and small items such as twine, tags and toppers. Use tools with care and store them safely. Children should be supervised by an adult, particularly for any step involving a blade, and ribbon, twine and small decorations should be kept away from babies, young children and pets. Dried plant or fruit decorations described on the site are ornaments, not food. Keep wrapped gifts and paper decorations away from candles and other heat sources. You are responsible for deciding whether a project or a decoration is suitable for you, for the person receiving the gift or for a child in your care.

Using our content

Unless stated otherwise, the text, illustrations and design of the site belong to Menu Perfeito. You are welcome to:

  • read, print and use the guides for personal, classroom, library, craft-group or other non-commercial purposes;
  • use the methods to wrap gifts for yourself, for others or as part of your own work;
  • share a link to any page;
  • quote short passages with a clear credit and a link back to the original page.

Please do not republish whole articles or illustrations, sell them, or present them as your own work without written permission.

Basic wrapping methods such as the standard box wrap, the diagonal wrap or a hand-tied bow are common knowledge, and anyone is free to use them. Our rights relate to our own written instructions and illustrations, not to the methods themselves.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site. This includes attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with how the site works, sending spam or unlawful content through the contact form, or copying the site in bulk by automated means beyond what is needed for normal search engine indexing.

The site links to a small number of third-party websites that we think are useful. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, Menu Perfeito is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or from following its guides. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.
